Good morning everyone! As you know I started my new job yesterday and so far...so good. It has little aggravations here and there, but nothing I can't work through right? I started work at 5pm and worked until about 1am, they let us go an hour early so I'm not complaining there. My sleep schedule is way different and I need to adjust to that so here I am awake at 7:51am wondering why if I only slept for about 4 hours. Go figure right?
Today I started day 2, the one thing I see is that this training is at your own pace, which is why they are giving us six weeks of training, I believe. I work today until 1am again, and the same schedule for tomorrow. I am off Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.
This weekend I am going to go tiny house shopping. I may not put down on it this week, I may wait until my first paycheck as there are a few things I need to take care of immediately, so I will dip into that deposit fund for a little bit then put it back pretty quickly, which is completely fine as I'm not worried about it, I will have my tiny house picked and paid for within the next 2 weeks so I am super excited and happy about that.

I also want to learn to dehydrate fruits and vegetable chips as well as make some jerky. I think this would amazing and such a blessing to create a "nest egg" of food. If you have any recipes I should try out when in my learning stages please post below or reach out to me via email or social media! I have chosen to get a digital dehydrator rather than the cheaper version because this version has a timer, and my newbie self will need that! All in all, I think I am going to wind up spending about $200 or so for this little venture, but I think it will be an amazing money saver in the future, especially during the winter months.
Yesterday I won a $25 gift card to Ticketmaster which I won't be using, so I plan on trading it for either a Home Depot gift card, Lowe's gift card or Amazon gift card. If you are interested I would trade this $25 gift for $20 at one of the above retailers. This will go towards something. lol.
I regret spending all my Amazon money on the pools last week, but not really. I wanted the kids to have something fun and I wanted something to relax in myself and this is the best solution for that, after all, I didn't pay any real money towards this stuff.
I have decided for my tiny house....I'm going to paint my cabinets PINK. I love the look of it and it's super ME. I love this shade here, it's like a bubblegum pink and I'm totally going to rock this on the cabinets I purchase. I think I'm going to save some money by just getting some "previously owned" cabinets at the Habitat Restore and clean them up real good, paint them and cover the shelves in shelving paper that I already have! This screams Farmhouse Mod to me. lol. It's so totally what I'm going for. Light, bright and happy. I like to surround myself with colors that make me smile. Pink, Yellow, Teal, Bright blues...I hope everyone will enjoy what I pull together, it definitely won't be to everyone's taste but I'm just going to do ME.
Well, that's all I really have this morning for updates. So many changes happening within the next month that I can barely contain myself!! I'm so incredibly happy. Thank you for all the well wishes, the good vibes, the support and the kind words. It means so much to me.
Have a beautiful rest of your day!!
