"You get involved with someone and you think you can just tweak their flaws a little bit and make them perfect, but the flaws don't go away. In fact, tweaking them just seems to make them worse. The flaws take on gigantic importance, so that a guy you thought was perfect except that he never remembered to call enough suddenly turns into a guy who's nowhere close to perfect because he's got a serious case of selfish thoughtlessness." ~ Charmed, I'm Sure by Liz Ireland
This was my Quote of the Day yesterday, however I liked it so much, and thought that it pertained to so many people that it needed it's very own post. I can't tell you how many times I've seen women try to change a man. Hell, I'm guilty of it, too. No matter how many times we say we love them just the way they are, there is something we inevitably try to change, and 9 times out of 10 we fail miserably and end up doing more harm then good. So I say we learn from this quote. Because, face it, girls. We can't change them. They are what they are and if you love them you gotta love the good and the bad.
