I know it's really close to graduation for a lot of you 2011'ers out there, but there is still time to plan a fantastic party on a budget. So I'm going to share with you a lot of great printable items that out there on the web, you can intermingle these ideas and have a great party where everyone will have fun.
My first tip is going to be go to your local Dollar Tree! They have TONS of plates, napkins and banners you can buy for a $1, so if you take $20 you got all the plates and fun things you can handle. I've even seen some great picture frames with tassels that can be used to put your graduate's picture in for table decor.
Now for the printables! You can do this a few different ways, if you are a die hard paper invitation person then you can definitely find some GREAT printable invitations online. Here are some of the best I've seen.
These are pretty teal Class of 2011 printable invitations. You just print and fill out the information and mail them or have your grad hand them out to whomever he or she wants to invite. Very pretty! And you can get them here! Just follow the blogger's instructions to print out these very pretty invites.
Now you can also print out these very cute SAVE THE DATE cards. As you can see these too have a teal look so they can easily be used in conjunction with the teal invitations above. :) I also love the notebook theme here, as it's very much what I used to draw on my notepads when I was in school! You can find these Save the Dates here.
Okay so now that we've got the invitations out there floating around we need some decorations! How about...a pennant that says Class of 2011? You can go check out Print Your Party here and print out a whole package of black and white 2011 party decor. In her FREE package you will get Printable wraps for bottles, napkins, or containers; Printable Labels and tags for cupcakes, seals or favor tags, Printable Wine labels (we know they are underage just stick them on some sparkling cider or grape juice and they will live it up!) and a printable CLASS OF 2011 Pennant banner. Now these are mostly black so if you decide to go with these make sure the cartridge in the printer is FULL! But they are very awesome and will look striking with a teal infused theme. Teal balloons, black banner, teal icing on the cupcakes with the 2011 cupcake labels. PERFECT!
I'm not done yet! You can also check out Living Locurto's blog and download her free Senior 2011 tags. Also if you sign up for her newsletter she will send you a STAR WARS VERSION! How awesome is that?
Okay on to a different kind of pennant. If you want a little more color or pizazz to your pennant you can always go to Hubpages here scroll about midway down the page and you will see that there are several different kinds of pennants you can mix and match to get the one you want the most. There are also a lot of different ideas on their page as well so have fun!
Here is also another fun invitation! Very elegant with brown and cold caps. :)
Most of all Graduation is a milestone in your life. You are GETTING OUT OF SCHOOL! Yes, but you are also opening the door to being a responsible adult. Whether you go to college or get a job or travel around Europe I hope you have a fantastic rest of your journey because one chapter of your life has ended but another has opened.
