Book Review: When God Made Light by Matthew Paul Turner/Illustrated by David Catrow

We have another gorgeous book from the writing phenom of Matthew Paul Turner combined with the phenomenal illustrations by David Catrow. These men are amazing and are definitely giving us something beautiful and unattainable. A book that captures our hearts from page one.

I first read the duo's work with When God Made You (you can read my review here) and was super excited when I saw that there was a second book When God Made Light!
Cadence enjoyed the book!
She's super excited.

I adore Matthew and David's vision with these
books. When God Made Light is an awesome testament to what God has created both outside and inside your soul.

Not only is the book touching but also stunningly beautiful. This story follows the same nameless heroine from When God Made You through a day in her life and what God has created within her soul.

It's a sweet nod to Dr. Suess with its rhythmic words and imagination. We come to realize that when God created Light he created a light deep inside each of us. We loved the book and definitely recommend it.

The author really does take you on a magical ride that brings your senses to life and you fall in love with the heroine. I can't wait to see what Turner and Catrow dream up next as I know it will be a beautiful testament to their love for Christ.

I would especially recommend it to any churches, so if you donate books to your Church's library I would recommend putting both When God Made You and When God Made Light on the list. It's definitely well written and full of love.
