1. Target Hot Wheels Event - June 16th from 10am to 1pm you can take your child to your local Target and your kid will get a FREE Hot Wheels car to customize and race against other kids. Click the link to find a participating Target near you!
2.Michaels - Michaels craft store is hosting a FREE Clay Slime event on June 16th from 1pm to 3pm. They'll provide the supplies, including premade slime. Also, check out their other events, some are as low as $2 per child.
3. Home Depot - On July 7th your child can go to Home Depot and build a fishing game. This event lasts from 9am to 12pm and is recommended for kids aged 5-12. Once complete they can decorate the game with stickers. Super cute. Home Depot does these events monthly and they always look to be a ton of fun.
4. Bass Pro Shop - They are hosting a ton of different things through the summer! A catch and release pond, Free weekly crafts, free games...so much stuff! They do have a page dedicated to their summer activities so I recommend you check it out and see what you and your kids want to participate in!
5.Regal Cinemas - They are doing $1 movies weekly! Super fun movies such as Despicable Me, Trolls and Sing will be available to watch in theatre for just $1, and some of those proceeds are going towards charity so definitely a teachable moment for children.
6. Cinemark - Pay $1 for one show or $5 for 10 shows and your child can watch awesome movies all summer long! This appears to be starting tomorrow but may vary by location as to what will be shown. If you go to the site and put in your information to find your local Cinemark you can download the pdf file of dates and times and most of what I'm seeing includes a $2 off coupon for concessions. Super awesome! Movies like My Little Pony, Boss Baby and Ferdinand seem to be featured!
7. In the state of North Carolina, if you are an EBT or WIC recipient you can take your children to the Discovery Place for $1 each. Read through all the information on their website. This is an amazing offer and definitely exceeds their "Science for All" platform.
8. Apple - Apple is hosting kids events through the summer for FREE. You can check out their website for what is being offered in your area as this appears to be decided from store to store. Super fun events and hands-on learning for your little ones!
9. Microsoft Summer Camp events - Microsoft has amazing FREE classes every summer from teaching kids how to code to how to use devices. They offer several events for kids of varying ages. Check them out and sign your kids up as these events fill up quickly!!
